FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ : FAQ

WHAT SIZE ARE THE BARRELS?

Barrels vary in size, but all are typically 200 L (50 gallons). They are approximately 24" wide at the centre and approximately 3' tall. Barrels weigh about 100lbs. Each barrel is unique in exact size and colour.

WHAT IS A CULL BARREL?

A cull barrel simply means the barrel has been pulled from use on the distillery line. These barrels are best used for decor and craft use, they cannot be guaranteed to hold liquid. Barrels are generally in good condition, but may have cracked staves or rusted rings.

WHAT DO THE BARRELS LOOK LIKE INSIDE?

All barrels have been charred inside, as this aids in the flavour profile of the whiskey that has been aged in them. Some barrels may still have remnants of absorbed whiskey in them that could leak, please keep this in mind when transporting and storing your barrel!
